1 month after giving birth and rings aren't fitting!

This doesn't makes sense..i wore my wedding bands all thougout my pregnancy (granted they were getting tight)...but before i went into hospital i took them off..
But now i can't them back on. they aren't even close to getting back on my finger!!! Could my fingers still be swollen??? Maybe it because I still have about 20-25 lbs to lose, but when i was up 40lbs they were fitting. Anyone else experience this?

with my 1st DS it never went back on after then 6 months after I had DS I was preggers with DS#2 and it still wasnt fitting....Here I am 2 years later and they barely fit. I am too afraid of getting it stuck. I think my actual knuckle got bigger. I am waiting a lil long before I resize. BUt I lost all my baby weight and then some so there is no reason why it wont fit but like I said my knuckle is what is the problem =(

I can't get mine on either - I haven't been able to since I had DS 1. I'm going to get them resized in a few months.

Eta I think my knuckle got bigger too. I can't get them over it.

You know how your feet grow during pregnancy and for a lot of women, they don't go back? And they have to buy all new shoes? All the books tell you about that, but no one tells you that it happens to your hands too. It happened to me and to every girlfriend I've asked. We all can't wear our engagement rings anymore.

My rings fit until I was about 7 months pregnant. I've since lost all the baby weight, but they still don't fit. It's not fat or bloat; my fingers (like my feet) are just a size bigger now.

I had DS 3 months ago and i just got my rings on this week. I had lost all of my pregnancy weight within a few weeks but i guess the distribution of the weight changed.

DD is 2.5. When she was about 2 I finally lost a bunch of weight and my wedding band fit again, but not my engagement ring. I'm now preggo and neither fit again. After DS, I'm definitely getting them resized. I resisted doing it before because I was convinced that I would lose weight and they would fit.

I was able to wear my rings up until 33-34 or so weeks. I lost all of the baby weight, but my rings never fit, so almost 5 months after I had my first I had my rings re-sized. I went up an entire ring size. Thankfully my rings still fit me after I had DD.

I couldn't wear my rings from21 weeks on while prego (I gained A LOT of weight! Lol).... Now I'm 7.5 weeks PP & they still don't fit even I've lost 46 lbs! I'm hoping after the last 25 lbs come off they willbfit again (or maybe even sometime before???)!
