Re: Build a bear party
We went to one and it was a nice party. The birthday parent can pick a price range for the toy (I want to say the least expensive bear was $10 per child. The one I went to did not give clothing for the bear - they just had the kids pick bears, do some songs, wait in lines to fill the bears and put ribbons on the bears. There were over 30 kids at the party. The mom is a good friend of mine - she did not expect every child to attend the party and once it got over her price point she eliminated clothing. Then she took everyone up to the food court for dessert.
I want to say shirts are about 5-8 dollars. We went back and got a pair of sneakers and a shirt for our kids.

Build a bear party
We went to one and the smaller you can keep it, the better. The party we went to had just too many kids which translated into a LOT of waiting around - not great with 2-3 year olds.
Also keep in mind - absolutely no food is allowed in the store, so you need to head back to the food court for cake, and depending on crowds and how many people you have, it can get tricky.

Re: Build a bear party
the party would be for a 4 yo - only asking about 5 girls.
did you think is was weird to go and eat in the food court? I'm sure the kids will not care.
adding: also, I want to do it first thing in the AM

Re: Build a bear party
we went to a party there it went kind of fast...but kids had fun and loved the animals they made.....then kids ate at the food court but only had ice cream...no food. my DD was starving, so if your planning to feed the kids put that in your invitation that food will be followed in the food court...of if you do decide to do just ice cream, have the party at a time after lunch or dinner.

Build a bear party
We went to one there when my older daughter was 3. There were ALOT of kids and ALOT of waiting around. Most kids got bored. They were able to pick a bear (3 choices) and an outfit (about 7 choices). For a group of 5 girls i think it would be a Great party!!

Re: Build a bear party
We have been to one and it was cute. I would get there as soon as the mall opens and get the food court tables and have a family member stay with them. You can decorate them, etc. usually.
