questions
I was wondering if/what could happen if you didnt know you were pregnant for the 1st 3 months and went on with your normal day life. I mean drinking (not gettting drunk but maybe 3 to 4 drinks a month) taking advil or mortion at lest 3 times a day, staying on a diet, ridding amusment rids have x-rays taken at a dentist.... Are these thing what would worry a docter or yourself or is it somewhat ok since your so early on still?

Re: questions
who knows? You see those shows on tv when women didn't know they were pregnant and the baby was just fine. I would let my dr know if that happened to me.

questions
I don't know? Like the prior posted said; there's lots of women on that TV show (and IRL) that go the whole pregnancy without knowing. I recently was told a story about someone that went to the ER for stomach pains and came home with a baby!! she was young (23/24) had no idea she was pregnant!
I remember from the TTC board people would say that the baby doesn't share the blood until 6 weeks...but if you're 8 or 10 weeks and drinking/smoking/dieting/etc some of those actions might affect the baby. But again i'm no doctor and no pro when it comes to these things.

Re: questions
While you hear many stories of women who went about their "normal" lives because they didn't know they were pregnant, there are many risks as well.
Drinking caffeine put you at a higher risk for miscarriage. Drinking alcohol exposes the baby to potentially having Fetal Alcohol Syndrome which can lead to everything from being born at a lower birth weight to learning disabilities to death. Going on rides also puts you at risk for a miscarriage.
The other part of that is not having prenatal care puts the baby at risk for other health issues, such as spina bifida.

Re: questions
I worry about everything no matter what. I was taking prenatals when trying to conceive then stopped for awhile (not realizing that I was pregnant) so for the first couple of weeks of my pregnancy- I was not taking prenatal vitamins and that still annoys me to this day. As they were sitting right in front of me and I never took them. But all you can do is make sure you are doing everything possible to have a healthy baby once you know for sure. Any of those things you listed could be something to worry about but they could also be things that don't/didn't make a difference at all. So it is really up to the doctor and the medical care moving forward that would be important and could provide real information.

Re: questions
you just never know. years ago, women wouldn't even go see a doctor until they missed 2-3 periods bc these early pregnancy tests, blood tests, sonos etc were unheard of. and the majority of babies still turned out just fine. but i think it's something a doctor should answer... i mean, at the end of the day, if you don't know for 3 months then it is what it is and you deal with whatever comes your way. but there are some women who do everything "perfectly" and still have problems or lose their babies so really it's a gamble and you never know, regardless.

Re: questions
I asked the doctor those exact questions since I was doing them all thru my first 8 weeks. I even got drunk several times. Went to the dentist and got xrays, got work done. Didn't know I was pregnant. When I saw the Doctor, I told him everything and told me not to worry and didn't look concern at all.
