Half way there and feeling awful...
I'm 20 weeks with and feeling awful the past few days. My lower back pain is out of control, I can't sleep comfortably AT ALL, and lately, my stomach is SO tight and heavy that it hurts to stand for a long period of time and even walk at times. I called my OB last week and went in because I thought I might even be having contractions. He hooked me up to the NST and fortunately, no real contractions, just some "irritability". He said I might have a possible UTI (based on my urine) which could cause discomfort and he checked my cervical length and it was great. I just feel like I shouldn't feel this horrible at only 20 weeks I have a 3 1/2 y/o DD, so I'm not resting as much as I'd like. Is anyone else feeling this worn out this early on? I'm worried how I'll make it until the end at this rate If I feel this badly tomorrow, I will definitely call my OB.

Re: Half way there and feeling awful...
I'm 23 weeks now and started really feeling crappy last week. I'll go out shopping for a half hour and come home all tight and crampy and I need to lay down. Everything was fine with the babies and they told me it's my body letting me know I'm doing too much. I went to Michael's and did some food shopping last night and had trouble sleeping because I was all crampy all night. I'm still all tight and crampy now.
I think we just feel worse sooner because we are like 2 months ahead in terms of body growth. Instead of having one 1lb 5 oz baby, I have a 1lb, 4oz and a 1lb 6 oz so its double.
What scares me is that as crappy as I feel I know it's not even the worst of it.

Re: Half way there and feeling awful...
You might have luck with a chiropractor for your lower back pain. I ended up seeing one when I was pregnant for some crazy pelvic pain and was SHOCKED at how much better I felt after like 2 weeks. Granted, all of this after multiple doctors I saw were all "you're pregnant, it's gonna be uncomfortable", so I was pretty psyched someone listened and made me feel so much better.
