LA Fitness or NYSC
I am trying to decide between the two. I am in Smithtown so it would be the Lake Grove LA Fitness and obvi the NYSC Smithtown. TIA

I have heard good things about NYSC in Smithtown, my friends like it there.
I think they are opening a LA FItness in Smithtown soon (where walbaums used to be). Personally I know if I had to go to Lake Grove to hit the gym, after a month or so the novelty would wear off and I would stop going! So If you really like LA fitness I would wait until the Smithtown Location opens!

I'm a member at NYSC and love it. I didnt join LA Fitness because it always seemed very crowded and the traffic by the mall was a pain in the neck!

I'm a member of the LA Fitness in Lake Grove and I really like it. I joined about 2 years ago, and I've never had to wait for a machine...even when it's busy. The parking lot can be crowded, but it's huge and there are always spots.
And once you join, you can go to any location you want...so if the Smithtown one is more convenient for you, you can go to that one once it opens.
