Suggestions please, Family Friendly Beach - Dining Nearby
I am in mid-Nassau county and looking for a family friendly beach to spend the day with my sister and 2 yr old niece.
Do you know of any cute towns that have beaches with maybe a playground and outdoor dining nearby?
Do not mind traveling a bit.
Any suggestions would be great!!!

Corey Beach has a playground and has Flo's right around the corner.

La Casa resteraunt is on crab meadow beach. Its north shore, suffolk...but its awesome. Theres an outdoor eating area where the kids can sit next to you on the beach, and a playground on the beach as well.

Tobay has the ocean and bay, 2 dining options and a spraypark/playground. I go with a friend who is TOB during the week. Or I think during the week it's 20something $ and not available to non-res during the weekend.

We've been to Tobay 3 times this summer with my 14 month old, it's very child friendly. The restaurant is pretty good too.

I live closest to Tobay - so I will definitely try that one out first.
