Vacationing w/Twins

My husband & I are celebrating our anniversary in March and would like to take our twins with us. In March they will be 7 months old. We have heard that it is best to bring them on a plane early to get them used to flying. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the states that is baby friendly? We were thinking of Florida, but not Disney until they are older.

Baby friendly??? What do you mean by that? If you want to bring them somewhere they may be alittle young but you can do pool/beach. Enjoy

Baby friendly means family oriented where there are other babies and children around.

Re: Vacationing w/Twins

At that age we went on a vacation to a resort upstate. It was great! There were tons of activities for us to do as a family!
Pool
5 playgrounds
Dancing
Hay Ride
Train Ride
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner included
Splash Pad
and so much more! I have been going to this resort on and off since I was a kid and it was perfect for this age! The family resort is called Sunny Hill and it's about 3 1/2 hours from Suffolk County, I would definately check it out!!

My LO's are now 18 months and we just came back from Disney and getting through the airport was hectic!! It was their first plane ride at this age and they did fine. You don't need to rush to get them on a plane so they get used to it. Mine did great at a later age. But they didn't like the heat, being in a stroller all day, long lines.

IMO keep it simple at that age. My LO's had the most fun at 7 months playing on a blanket outside staring up at the trees, birds, playing with toys and the pool.

at 7 months we took my twins to hawaii - it is an easy age to travel with them - there are a few companies that rent abby equipement - babiesaway is one and so renting a condo ont he beech works but pools are easier

you might want to try the sandpiper resort - club med - theya re a family resort

alot of mariott timeshares are very kid firendly and it is nice because you have condos to stay inand have a kitchen - we stayed at a mariott in hawaii

honestly i would look for a great pool because that is easier with babies. also rooms that are close to the pool and first floor. i wish we had a first floor room because then we could have sat outside on the grass while our kids slept

we ended up bringing using an extra pack and play from the hotel and i bought an excersaucer (that i shipped ahead of time from amazon) to the pool every day. the twwins slept by the pool most days - my 2.5 year old had to go inside for his nap -

it was fun to have the kids and they had lots of fun in the pool - also ship pool floats tot he hotel ahead of time

it is an easy time to travel with twins
