I love the convenience of everything - 24 hr CVS, beach close by, supermarkets nearby and open 24/7, restaurants of every type close to me, express train to Manhattan, shopping outlets, so many parks everywhere - it just seems to have everything I need.

Definitely the beaches...more beautiful than anywhere I have been by a plane..I live that you are never more than 20 min from some type of water! Hahs
I also love the suburban feel - yet I can still walk to stores and don't feel I have to drive!

The best thing about Long Island is being able to say "it's close" about everything. The beach, the city, your favorite deli, bagel store, cafe, store, and most important- family! The good, the bad, the ugly- everything is right here!

That's a tough one. It offers so much. Beaches, Farm Stands, Wineries, The Shopping,
But lately, my favorite would probably be how close it is to The City.

My favorite thing about living on Long Island (really Queens but still on the island!) are the activities. There are so many things to do and see. Each weekend we're doing different things and haven't repeated anything yet.

my favorite thing about living on Long Island is the diversity we can find. You can go from a farmstand to a major shopping center in less than 10 minutes. I love having the best of both worlds!
