If you have a boy and a girl (halloween related)...
Did you coordinate costumes or do something different with each? Want to do something cute and easy thathopefully DS can enjoy (he will be 2 and change and DD would be 5 months then FTR)...

If you have a boy and a girl (halloween related)...
We never coordinated (son is 6, daughter is 4) because my son always wanted to dress in some kind of whacky costume (bee keeper one year and last year he wanted to be a quarter--no joke!). But if you want to coordinate, do you want to do a tv show (cookie monster & a cookie)? Or just things that go in pairs like milk & sugar, cow & milk bottle, hug and kiss (the kiss could be hershey's kiss [tinfoil & some brown felt or paper]..hmm...would have to give some thought about the hug!)?

I coordinated my kids and plan to do it again this year 
One year they were Luke and Leia from Star Wars. Last year they were Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. This year I want to do something from Monsters Inc maybe. I'm still figuring it out!

they are twins so have been coordinated. first year were a bumble bee and lady bug, 2nd year were garden gnomes, and this year will be mickey and minnie.

I always try to coordinate. Right now it's easy since the 2 little ones don't have much of an opinion. I let DD pick her costume and then pick something for the other 2 that fits with hers.
I figure I have maybe 1-2 more years before Owen says forget it.

The things I have thought about Mickey/Minny

If they were older, I think it would be weird. If they're young like toddler age, I think it's cute. This is for Luke/Leia, not Mickey & Minnie.

Absolutely!
First year they were Dorothy and the Scarecrow..
Last year it was a little less obvious but they were Sleeping Beauty and the Dragon.
This year I think they're either going to be Batman and Catwoman or Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf. My DD wants me to buy both but I think my DS has his heart set on Batman.

Yes! They are twins though. Last year they were a dog and a cat. I have no idea what they are going to be this year.

I've never coordinated, not even their first halloween (b/g twins). Now I have 3 kids and still don't coordinate. I just let the twins pick what they want and get something cute for the little one.

i will be doing it as long as they will let me!
i did mickey and minnie, tiana and a frog
last year they didnt coordinate...
but now that i have three this year i am trying to coordinate the 3 - we'll see if they let me
