Spinoff to Lake Success girl...bath related
When preparing a bath for your DC, do you fill the tub and then put your child in, or do you start the water and put them in while the tub is filling?
Just curious

I run the tub while I get dd ready (undressed). I put her in only after the tub has stopped running

I do both. Sometimes I fill it and wait for DS while he is running crazily around the house. Other times he can't wait to get in and he uses the running water to fill buckets.

I run water makes sure right temp. Then when its at the level i want, i undress dd and then put her in and stay right next to her.

I start the tub and get DD undressed. I put her in as it is still filling. I get her washed and hair shampoo'd while it's still filling. By the time it's full, I am just about done. I turn the water off and she gets to play for a little while while I sit next to the tub. I start to let it drain and when it's half empty, I take her out.

We fill her tub, check the temperature and then put her in it. While the tub is filling is when we get her undressed and everything ready for bathtime.

I have to do baths with DH because both boys are all over the place. When I have to do it alone one gets undressed sits in enough water to cover their feet and then get taken out and put in PJ's and then repeat the whole process for the other one. Lat night wa the first time they took a bath together and we both had to be there...

I fill the tub, then get them undressed quick and then put them in. They are never in the bathroom alone, and while the tub is filling and they are getting undressed the door to the bathroom is closed.
