CSE Meeting for K today

it went AMAZING!!!!!!!!

in April we had our CPSE to CSE meeting, so we basically knew he was going to be in a 12:1:1 self contained class in district at our home school. what we didnt know yet was his services he would be receiving.

he had his Speech and Ed Eval 2 weeks ago, and he amazed us all.

we knew he would have a problem with Speech in certain areas (which he did) and he was off the charts in others.

with the Ed Eval he scored within big average and in a few areas above average.

his main issues are behavioral and speech.

he will be getting 1:1 speech 1x30 & 1:G3 speech 1x30

1x40 cycle Behavior

OT eval in sept will determine what he will receive for that

he will also be getting 2x60 Behavior intervention (ABA) at home

we are hoping to mainstream him in general ed for 3 1/2 days w/ a para, after he settles in his new environment and after the teacher assess him.

i cannot believe how much my little man has grown.

i am beyond ecstatic with the outcome of this meeting!

I'm so glad that it went well for you. I love the fact that your district gave you home services. (would you mind sharing what district you're in?)
