Hello Ladies
Hi everyone, I'm newly pregnant (5 wks to be exact). It's been an emotional roller coaster- constantly worrying that something will go wrong or just really excited. Everyday I realize something else I can't eat, that I eat all the time. I am a huge coffee drinker so that has probably been the hardest sacrifice so far. Anyway, nice to meet you all!

Once you wean yourself down to one cup of coffee a day it's not so bad. I used to drink like 8 cups a day before I got pregnant, now I have one or none a day.

Congrats!!
I used to be a huge coffee drinker as well and I agree- its definitely tough at first. If I'm really craving another cup (I limit myself to one a day) I have decaf and try to pretend its regular

Congratulations! I know the new restrictions can be tough but it's only for 9 months (that's what I have to keep telling myself to keep sane!). You do get used to it and will find that there are substitutions to a lot of things you "can't" have.

Congratulations! Definitely don't cut out all the caffeine at once -- or your next post will be "are headaches normal?" Wean yourself down slowly and it'll be fine!
