cat pooping issues - HELP!!!

over the last few months, my cat has pooped outside the litter box - near the box, on our bed, etc. we moved her box and that seemed to work for a while. we also took her to the vet and she get a clean bill of health.

Friday night she pooped again on our bed. I set up ANOTHER litter box and she's started to pee in it.

today, so pooped all over the house...started on our bedroom floor, down the stairs and by the front door. it looks like she was making her way into the basement to get to the litter box, but didnt make it.

Anyone have any experience like this?

I know this is not the first time you have posted about litterbox issues. If I am being honest, I think there are a lot of issues going on with your poor kitty. Try to remember that cats instinctually WANT to go in the litter box. When they dont there is a reason and they are trying to let you know. The fact that she pooped in your bed is her best attempt to getting your attention! Where are the litterboxes? If she has to go that far to use a litterbox and is waiting until the last minute could mean that she doesnt like where it is. You posted that you recently moved, lost a cat and had a baby. Cats are creatures of habit. Most do not adjust well to change. She is in a new home, has suffered a loss and has the stress of an infant. She probably is not being played with as much either. Added her box is not where it used to be (was it always in a basement?). I know it can be frustrating, but I guarantee if you take the time to change things you will be happier and the cat will be happier. It could also be the type of litter, the type of litterbox and the amount of times a day you scoop. I am fortunately in that my cats will use the litterboxes even if I havent scooped in two days but other cats will refuse if there is ANY poop in the box. Some people are OCD and this holds true to cats too! Stress and territory can play a part in litterbox issues too. Was the bed her turf? Is the baby in bed with you a lot now? You can inquire with your vet if they feel medication would help. I wouldnt normally recommend medication as a fix but if is the difference between that or giving her away, she's better off on medication than homeless. If you have any questions, let me know.
