crashing: babysitting kindergarden child
this friday, we are babysitting a 4/5 year old till about 11pm.
is it okay to take the child out (and stay out) that late? or should we put the child to sleep earlier and have the parents pick up from our place?
just wondering what you guys think....

Ask the parent! Each parent has their own rules!

I'd watch the LO at their house, put them to bed at their normal bedtime. But I think it's a good idea to check with the parents to see what they prefer. IMO, 11pm is late to be out with a 5yr old.

My 4.75 year old is asleep before 8. She is capable of staying awake that late, but its usually an extra challenge in terms of behavior at that time.
