WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
I just rec'd letter from teacher along with the supply list. It asks to have the lunch and snack labeled sperarately - Lunch should say child's name and "Lunch" and Snack should say child's name and "Snack"
Any suggestions on how to do this?
I get if I put something in a ziplock baggie I can write on it. But what if it's like a bag of Doritos or granola bar?
TIA!

Stick all items in a paper bag and write on that? They're cheaper then ziplocks if they're already prewrapped.

I bought a 100-pk of the little brown paper bags and will label them for snack. DD will know whatever is in her lunchbox is for lunch, so I personally I don't think that needs to be labeled.

This s what has been traditionally done by my students and by me as a mom.

Re: WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
We put lunch in a lunch bag (lunch bag has his name on it) and snack in a ziplock bag that we labeled with DS's name and SNACK.

Re: WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
Either a label you print on your computer or write it on masking tape and stick it on the bag.

Re: WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
We do lunch in lunch box/bag (always labelled with name on lunch box). Snack is water and some kind of snack in a brown paper bag that is labelled with name and word snack on the bag. We don't label the individual items.

Re: WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
My kids have regular lunch boxes for their lunch, and reusable lunch sacks from etsy for snack.

Re: WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
We just used two different lunch bags. DD knew which was for lunch and which was for snack, but in order to avoid confusion and since they are asking you to label them, I would probably put either a office type label or masking tape with the name on it for the first week or two.

This is what I do too. And just to be sure, on the inside of the snack sack, I wrote, with Sharpie, her name and "Snack".

Re: WWYD: Labeling Lunch/Snack
I'm putting DS' snack in a paper bag with a big "S" on it as instructed for snack but I am not labelling his lunchbox with an "L"
