Bad Headaches
The last 2 weeks I have been experiencing a very sensitive scalp just above my left ear, and with a bad headache ,Headache not all the time....I had this bad pain about 8 months ago when I had shingles...
Any ideas what the pain is???
My Dr wants me to get a Brain MRI...
I would have to go for a complete open MRI...

Bad Headaches
Go for the MRI. It only takes about 20 minutes and it will rule out a bunch of very scary stuff. When you go for the test only you head is in the scanner the rest of your body is outside. If you close your eyes you do not even realize you are in the machine.

Could it be trigeminal neuralgia? This can often be related to prior cases of shingles.
