when the dr. says wait a cycle...
Do they mean you can start trying after your first period on your first ovulation? Or do they mean to wait until you complete one whole cycle and then get your second period?
Stupid question I know....just happy AF finally came after my miscarriage.

a whole cycle is period to period. so you would get your period, wait til your next period and start on that next ovulation. sorry, good luck!!

Not a stupid question at all. My doc told me to wait 3 months, so we started trying again after the 3rd period from my mc.
I'd say start again after this period.

My doc told me that waiting a cycle meant that I could try right after i had my first period. she said I could even try asap if i wanted to, it was my choice but sometimes it makes the pregnancy harder to date. I miscarried very early so that prob makes a difference in why she told me i could try asap.

Looks like drs. interpret it differently. Had an early miscarriage so I guess we'll just see what happens
