Runners:how often do you change your route?

I used to stick with one route along my neighborhood and it just got plain boring. In the past month I've added about three more routes and then I mix them depending on how far I want to run or what mood am I in (want hills, speed, sand, trAil, road, etc) just wonder what other runners do.

I wish I could change my route more, but my neighborhood sucks! Lol. There's not many different places I could go (I live in a small town). The only good thing is my route really does have everything- hills, trail, road. I think if I want a change of scenery, I need to drive to different parks, etc. I just hate doing that. I'd rather stay locally and be close to home. Other days I sometimes use the treadmill, but I'd much rather run outside.

I do something different almost every day. I have a few routes that I like and will repeat but not often is it exactly the same. I have a great neighborhood for running though, and I often go to Sunken Meadow where I will run the same "pieces" but do them in various orders.

I am the worst about changing my routes. I probably have 5-6 routes that I do, but I tend to stick to the 3 that I like best.

I have a few different routes based on the distance I want to run, and I pretty much stick to those.

I have a few different routes through my neighborhood. It depends if I am running for speed or distance, or flat or hills.

There are sometimes that I like consistency. Currently I'm in a change it up mood and have been meeting a friend all over the place for runs.
