Groin pain?
I am 31wks and about a week ago when I walk around I have a pain in my groin. The baby is large is that just the pressure? I am assuming this pain is only going to get worse in the next few weeks.

Re: Groin pain?
Ugh- the groin pain is one of many things that I don't miss about pregnancy. Mine was AWFUL. And it didn't go away fully until about a week after she was born. It sucks. Sorry

Re: Groin pain?
I'm with you.....very uncomfortable, worse when I get up from a sitting position. I too have big babies, and yes, I think it's a combo of the pressure from them pushing down and everything moving around to prep for a vaginal delivery. It does go away after the baby is born. Ive now hit a point where literally every piece of me hurts.....counting the days. GL!

Re: Groin pain?
Omg I am only 18 weeks and I get a stabbing pain in my groin if I move fast or get up from sitting its awful!! It's so bad my leg almost gives out. I have an appt tonight and I am going to ask if there is anything I can do to make it better. Ill keep you posted!
Ok so dr said normal part of pregnancy. The more you are up on your feet and the more you lift during the day the worse you will feel. Rest was his only advice but then he laughed since I have 21 month old twins and work a pretty physical job as a pediatric physical therapist with disabled children....so looks like I will be dealing with it till the end. uhhhhh
hope you feel better

Re: Groin pain?
It could be SPD and the pulling ligament pain like I had. It was really bad. Hard to walk up stairs, sit in a hard chair and even sleep. It felt like my bones were broken. I went to the physical therapist and they said it was my lower back baring the weight of my belly and pulling in my groin. They said some joints were out of whack too. I only got to 2 apts before having my babies but I think after the 2nd apt I felt some improvement. They said sometimes it can stay after delivery but I don't feel the bone pain now. (just cs pain)
