donating breastmilk
I have about 30 bags of breastmilk that I would love to donate just dont know how. Anyone have any info

I forgot her screen name, but her daughters name is Sophia and she has SMA (the most amazing girl I've ever read about) I believe she still uses breastmilk for her daughter. I know someone on here knows who I'm talking about. Sorry I can't help with her screen name, but maybe someone will read this and know it.

for NY, the closest legit human milk bank is WakeMed located in North Carolina. You need to go through a pretty detailed screening process but then they fed ex you a cooler and storage bags and pay for everything. here's the wakemed link
there's also eats on feets
and
human milk for human babies
beware that when you're donating that you don't end up donating to a Prolacta organization. they are a for profit organization that mask themselves as a milk bank!

Stumbled upon this post and just wanted to crash to say how amazing this is that you ladies would think to help out women who need donated breast milk. Especially for women starting their family through surrogacy, a BIG concern is that the baby won't get the benefits of breast milk since the intended mother wouldn't be producing. So, on behalf of intended moms out there pursuing surrogacy, THANK YOU

I second donating to Sophia. She was saying last week that she needed more milk. I forgot her screen name on here but I sent her a pm on Facebook letting her know that someone on here was looking to donate their stash.

Donate to Sophia!
If Sophia's ok, contact Lindsey @ LI Breastfeeding. Families contact her for help. She can work with you to get your milk to someone else in need.
