suggest a "newer" restaurant near mineola with UPDATE at bottom
looking to take SIL out for bday dinner, but she has been to most of the places in the area. anything new (within the last 5 years) thats worth checking out? willing to drive 30 minutes to go.

Luigis Pizza! I ate take out a few times but my family's been to the restaurant and have had great service. their food is so good! I know you dont eat meat but their braised shortrib with polenta is awesome.

just wanted to update...we wound up going to the new Seasons 52 in roosevelt field mall. everything on their menu is under 500 calories. everything was really yummy, the place is cozy and cute (even though its a chain), and the service was excellent.
