Baby positioner seats
Are they really necessary? Or can you use the boppy to help your LO sit up and learn to sit up?
For example the bumbo seat. (Which I know was recalled) or the Mamas and Papas snug seat. I have the snug seat on my registry but dunno if it's really a necessity.

Keep it on your registry. You're not going to need it for a while, but it's good to have when you do need it.

Re: Baby positioner seats
I have the snug seat, I used it as a high chair when dd first started eating solids, she likes it. I've since brought it to my in laws to keep there for when she goes over. I liked that it is more sturdy then the bumbo and comes with a tray. It also can be used longer then the bumbo.

Re: Baby positioner seats
We only used it with one of our children because someone let us borrow it. Honeslty, I didn't find it very useful. We used the boppy or helped to hold them up.

Baby positioner seats
I registered for a compact high chair that straps to a regular chair due to lack of space. So wondering if its a redundant item.

Baby positioner seats
You don't need them at all. The best way to teach the baby to sit up is to do a tripod exercise with him/her. You can use the boppy on the floor around the baby if you want, but it's just best to sit on the floor and cuddle the baby or be very close when he/she is learning. The seats don't teach anything. I got a boppy on CL for $15 with the tray and my daughter didn't use it until she was like 18 months when she discovered it in her bedroom and started to sit in it for story time just for fun. They actually fold the baby in an awkward way that isn't good for long periods of time.
