High Risk Doctor Recommendations for Pregnancy
If you had a doctor who you used during pregnancy or have met a doctor who you will use during pregnancy, please recommend them and also let me know their location.
I have a new insurance and I'm less than thrilled with the coverage so I'd like to start researching for when the time comes.

I don't know what hospital I'm looking to deliver at, I haven't researched the pros and cons of any of them. I am trying to hold out until next week to take a test but AF is officially late and I think I am preggo. I am high risk (4 losses) and was under the care of Dr B, who no longer accepts my insurance. If I get a BFP, I will obviously ask him for a recommendation. If I don't, well, I need a new recommendation anyway but for an RE.

my high risk doctor was Dr Kofinas in garden city...kofinas perinatal.
He is a GREAT doctor

He isn't "in network" anywhere, but will accept out of network benefits. HTH! Good luck

Any of the Drs. at Great Neck OBGYN - they are all wonderful.
Dr. Sadaty
Dr. Kaufman
Dr. Rifkin
Dr. Santoyo - she delivered my twins via emergency c-section at 32 weeks
I had a high risk twin pregnancy with a short cervix that they caught at 16 weeks, and did a cerclage at 17 weeks. Since they are a high risk practice they do all sonos in the office, and I never needed to go see any additional Drs. like a perinatologist.
They deliver at NSUH Manhasset.

I know this post was about 2 years ago. But I wanted to know about KOFINAS PERINATAL my fertility doctor just recommended me to him. I have had 3 miscarriages, and they don't know why. I wanted to know if he is good, and also how much is he, my fertility doctor told me, he does not take insurance. I am at my wits end, I can't go through this anymore. Please help.
