Please Suggest A Convertible Carseat!
Looking to switch cause 6 month old is getting very snug especially with winter coat on... Some qualities that Im looking for aside for safety ofcourse:
- not too large - easy to buckle child in (my graco is a pain) - not over 250
Thanks

Re: Please Suggest A Convertible Carseat!
I really like my britax boulevard 70. It's rear facing until I think 40 pounds, and it can be forward facing until 70 pounds or 49 inches tall. My son is 2, and I definitely think he'll be able to be in it until he's 4 or 5. So yiu can get a lot of use out of it! It's easy to buckle, the straps are nice and don't get twisted up, he's very comfortable in it.... And britax are always very highly rated for safety etc. I got it from albeebaby.com for about $230 I think...

Re: Please Suggest A Convertible Carseat!
i have britax i think its the marathon. I cant remeber. If you go to BuyBuyBaby you can use 20% off and it will be under $250.
I find it very easy to install. I bought a true fit car seat for DH car as a second car seat since it was cheaper but still hihgly rated and DD is hardly ever in his car and I HATED it it was such a pain in the ass to instal and use so i retruned and just bought another Britax

I have brutal roundabouts and have no complaints! Not a big fan of the Graco my ride I find it very hard to buckle.

I love my evenflo symphony 65. It has a rear facing limit of 40 pounds, a forward facing with harnesses limit of 65 pounds, and is also a belt positioning high back booster with a limit of 100 pounds. The headrest is adjustable so there's little to no need to worry about the child growing put of it height wise. It is super easy to install and extremely easy to adjust the straps.
Just remember, winter coats and car seats don't mix. They interfere with the proper alignment and adjustment of the straps posing a big risk in an accident.
