London broil ?
I am still not entirely sure how to prepare it, since it's called London Broil on the package, yet it's also a method of preparation.
If you purchase a steak labeled London Broil, how do you prepare it? I want to do something different than just grilling it, and I found a recipe where you can crock it till it shreds, but there's mixed reviews.
Ideas?

Re: London broil ?
I marinate it, then broil it (no grill). Boil down the marinade to make a sauce, slice the meat thin and serve with buttered egg noodles or garlic mashed potatoes.
I've never done anything else with the cut of meat labeled "London Broil".

Re: London broil ?
I take French's American Yellow mustard and spread it over both sides. Then I add some pepper ( no salt, since mustard is salty). Then I broil it on both sides till its done on the outside but pink on the inside.
OR
I chop three cloves of garlic. I take soy sauce cover put sides spread the garlic on both sides, add salt and pepper and a little water to the pan and broil it.
I slice the meat thin
We either serve this with mashed potatoes and vegetables or baked potato vegetables or I stirfry veggies and make rice and add the meat.

Re: London broil ?
i try to let it sit with some kosher salt on it for an hour or overnight when possible...this helps to tenderize the meat
then i marinate it and and let it sit for an hour or so. i pan sear both sides for 2-3 minutes then stick it in the over for 11-15 minutes (DH eat our meat medium-rare)
