Intro

Hi everyone just wanted to introduce myself and share my story! I haven't posted on here since my dd was born. June 4 2011. Before conceiving my dd I had a chemical....I was given the ok to start trying right away and we dd... We conceived first try after the chem! We produced the most perfect baby girl! Not one issue with my pregnancy or the baby! September we decided to start trying again for number 2 and got oreg on te first try....our first dr apt was great...I was measuring 6 w5 d and baby looked great saw and heard a heartbeat. I was measuring smaller than I should have according to my last af but I knew I ovulated later...dr wanted me to come back 2-3 weeks later to get a better due date. We did and the baby has no hb and had not grew any since my first apt. Needless to say we were devastated. Needed a d&c...which was extremely traumatizing. Dr said we should wait 1 cycle before trying again. Altho I'm still extremely emotional about everything I'm anxious to be able to start trying again. I need back eat I lost! I know it's the only way to get over what happened.

I do have a question for anyone tat went thru a d&c....after the procedure I had minimal bleeding...5 days after the bleeding has gotten heavy and I'm having some clots...should I be worried or is this sorta thing normal? Should I call my dr? I'm nervous! Thanks so much!

That's normal, as long as your aren't having intense cramps or soaking through a pad. Of course, if it would make you feel better, you could always put a call in to the dr.

I didn't have a D&C when I miscarried, but just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss.

i didn't have a d&C but i miscarried naturally over a week ago, and I'm still bleeding, its totally normal. Im so sorry for your loss as soon as AF comes we are trying.

So sorry for your loss. I would think the bledding and clots are normal even after a few days. My doc mentioned I may not have bleeding right away and it is possible it could start days after the D&C. I wouldn't be concerned unless you have heavy bleeding, cramping, and a fever.

Thank everyone! Last night I woke up to an insane amount of clots and of course was freaking out! Was planning on calling the dr when they opened...but when I woke up the bleeding was next to nothing!!and has been the whole day so I'm hoping it stays like this and stops soon
