Disney Question for BTDT Mommies of Toddlers (2/3 y.o)

How many days did you spend in JUST Magic Kingdom with your 2 or 3 year old?

Not sure we'll get everything done in one day...

Thanks!

Re: Disney Question for BTDT Mommies of Toddlers (2/3 y.o)

We took mid day breaks and park hopped. All together I would say in one week about 2 mornings and 2-3 evenings. I would give 2 days with a 2-3 yr old as that will be their major park. I will say you will get mixed responses but my girls 2nd favorite park was EPCOT. They loved the living seas with the finding nemo ride, turtle talk with crush, loved spaceship earth, journey into your imagination, and the rides in mexico and norway. They loved that all the princesses are all over world showcase, and enjoyed some of the entertainment in the various countries (living statues in france, drums in japan, acrobats in china, dancing to bands in England etc). They also had fun running around in the interactive water fountain between future world and world showcase. We were there for the flower garden show and theyhad fun with the various displays. They also enjoyed the music interactive area after journey into your imagination.

Going back to how many days in MK will really depend on -

When you are going
if you get there for rope drop or early entry
if you plan to some extent with Fast passes and order of the rides
if you take mid day breaks etc.
Also if you want to see a lot of characters

Honestly we plan in a lot of time in bc the girls wanted to do meet and greets and some rides they wanted to do a few times.

Our Disney itinerary:

Day 1: Animal Kingdom in the morning and Hollywood Studios in the afternoon/evening

Day 2: Magic Kingdom in the morning and Epcot in the evening

Day 3: Hollywood Studios in the morning and Magic Kingdom in the afternoon/evening

Day 4: Magic Kingdom only

We are debating the same question right now. I have a 3 year old and a 1.5 year old. I feel like there are so many more rides they will go on in Magic Kingdom versus Epcot.

This is true which is why we do EPCOT nights. I think there are more sit down choices for dinner so we go there at night for dinner and a few rides/activities.

That makes sense. We didn't do Park Hopper passes.

Re: Disney Question for BTDT Mommies of Toddlers (2/3 y.o)

We did Disney in sept...we started with epcot first day which I thought was great...lots of characters not a lot of rides for my 3 1/2 yr old but he had no idea want was coming...did magic kingdom two days...animal kingdom was way too hot and not so interesting for my ds...movie studios had litte for him although he loved Disney junios show....ds doesnt do so well on dark rides so that ruled out stuff so we literally did just the Disney junior show at movie and left...we had gotten park hoppers which looking back was a huge waste since we only did it one day...we had a great time...have fun

Thanks, ladies. We've decided to go to MK for two days. We're only going for a three day weekend and were only planning on going to one park this trip anyway. Just booked a character breakfast, which takes time away from actual park, so I feel better doing two days in Disney - esp since it's MLK weekend and is going to be crowded!Chat Icon

We did 4 - 1/2 days. We covered everything in 3 but, still had a day left on our tickets so we went again.

We did parks in the morning and pool in the afternoon.

We went MLK weekend and it wasnt as bad as you are thinking. The crowds were nothing.
