xbox kinect games?
I think I want to get DH the xbox kinect for christmas. He has been talking about it for a while, mainly b/c he thinks my 2.5 y.o. DS would like to play some of the games on it (eye roll). I will probably make it his gift from DS.
Any adult games that you recommend?
I am not into my 2 y.o. starting the video game addiction this soon but I know there is a sesame street game that he would like. Any other suggestions?

Re: xbox kinect games?
Your 2.5 year old will probably have a very hard time playing using Kinect. It can even be frustrating for my boys who are 9 and 7. I bought a Sesame Street Game for my daughter last year when she was just shy of 3 and she didn't know what to do with it at all.
Now for your husband (the one who will really be playing it), the new Black Ops II game is a pretty hot item. If he's into sport games my boys like FIFA Soccer and Madden Football games (they put out a new one each year).

I am getting this for my DD too. DH said the same thing about it I am getting the Disneyland game, the Adventures game, and the Sesame Street story game.

Thanks, it is probably better off if DS can't really play it, haha!

FIFA and Madden use Kinect (you can also do it without, I believe) but I think Black Ops is just a regular XBox 360 game and you don't use the Kinect.

Re: xbox kinect games?
My DD is 3.5 yo. Since a year ago, i introduced her to video games, Xbox Kinnect, PS Move and Wii. She handles them all quite well IMO compared to what we played as a kid (atari, colcovision, etc..)
She loves all of them. As far as addiction, that's up to you to control as a parent. I have no problem with educational stuff.
With that said, i really have no problem with her playing as the majority of what we introduce to her is educational stuff. Sesame Street is basically an interactive TV show. Disney game is fun (you will need to help DD/DS)
There are a ton more educational stuff on the Wii if you concerned about content. Her favorite Wii game is Nick Fit. An another alternative is a tablet. Brought DD a tablet at 2 and it my best purchase since. Movies, music and educational apps are used quite a bit.
