Low Blood Pressure and Running

Any runner have low blood pressure? I went for a checkup and it was 105/55. The nurse was alarmed intially but when I told her how much I run then she said it was fine. Last year this time I was closer to 115/60. When is it too low? On a few occasions I have felt light headed. I'm not quite sure if its low iron ( I am midly anemic and was during pregnancy) or low blood pressure. Im going to go get bloodwork done but wanted to know if any other runner went through something similar. I eat healthy but obviously need to do something different so I can continue to run and lift weights. I am hydrated and drink 2L of water. I eat over 1200cal everyday.Any insight is appreciated.

I have low blood pressure too but it is because I work out/run a lot, or so I've been told. I didn't think it was a problem, I think mine is similar though. They said it was healthy to have it vs. high blood pressure.

I also get lightheaded a decent amount and the doctor said it was related but unless its really bad, there isn't much to do about it.

I was also told I was low on Vitamin B at the doctor--again, not sure if it is related but I now take supplements.

My BP is usually ranges from 96-100/50ish. My doctors have said it's very low, but not a concern because I do live a healthy lifestyle. I am definitely prone to fainting though. When your BP is low it's harder for your body to adjust to trauma, or even needles, blood tests, etc.

I've been an athlete my entire life. I run, lift, spin, etc.

I've always had low blood pressure and have been running since 12. My blood pressure is around the 90-100/50-60 mark.

My mom has low blood pressure too - so I thought it was just genetic.

I'm not sure if it's related, but I have a pretty low resting HR (40) and a pretty high Max HR (200+ at 38 years)
