Birth control
I have two DC and am closing up shop. I am prone to mood swings. Which BC option is less likely to cause mood swings?

Re: Birth control
I was thinking that. Does it hurt? Do you bleed more? More cramps?

Birth control
I had a HORRIBLE experience with the copper iud - paragard. I held HEAVILY for 4-6 days every cycle for the year that i had it. i had bad cramps for a few days before and after every month too. I know everyone is different but I would never recommend it to anyone.
I have heard much better things about the Mirena, and after I have DC#3 I am going to look into that.
There's also the nuvaring. You have to be comfortable inserting it and taking it out though. I used it for a few years and liked it. Unfortunately it cost too much for me even with insurance.

I've heard a lot of great things about mirena, and a lot of not so great things.
Right now my sister in law is having symptoms like she has ovarian cancer. She tested negative, but the doctor thinks it has to do with the mirena (they removed it a few months ago when the issues started).
Yet my friend has it and loves it, just really research it.
