Pillsbury cookie dough
I'm almost 9 months pregnant and getting tired lately, how bad would it be to "cheat" this year for xmas and use Pillsbury cookie dough to make cookies?
I was thinking maybe I can get their peanut butter dough and mix in broken up peanut butter cups or something.
I'm only going to my mom's and MIL's house, so its not like a friends house or a fancy party.
I've always made homemade cookies, but just not feeling it this year. Is it really bad? Do you think people will know I did this?

i see no problem with this, especially if they are "touched up" a bit. It's like that show on food network... semi-homemade with sandra lee. you are pregnant - they'll totally understand regardless and plus pillsbury cookies are yummy!!!

You could do those simple ones where you put their sugar cookie dough in mini muffin trays and put a hershey kiss or mini pb cup in the middle.

When I feel like cheating, I buy them at the bakery and then put them in Tupperware. Viola! Homemade cookies!

Not bad at all. The chocolate chip are delicious. I love to bake but since having DD I always keep them on hand since sometimes I just don't have the time for anything homemade. They always get devoured.
Pioneer woman has a recipe for candy cookies. You put some refrigerator dough in a mini muffin pan, slightly undercook, and push a pb cups, kisses, or whatever you want in them, done! I've done all kinds of combos. The only thing that's a pain is unwrapping the candy and getting them out of the pan

i used to bake chocolate chip cookies from scratch and have tried a ton of recipes. there was one my family LOVED and so one day i did a taste test....made a batch of pillsbury and a batch from scratch. well, a majority of the people (like 30 people total) liked the pillsbury more!!! So now i dont waste my time making them from scratch. i put a few m&ms on them just to give them the homemade touch
