Re: pot pie recipes
ina garten's chicken pot pie is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!link
i made my own crockpot recipe and its good. its chicken breast (the thicker cut), cream of mushroom (fat free), cream of chicken or celery whichever i have, a bag of frozen mixed veggies and a bag of frozen cut up potatoes. add pepper, cook on low for 6 hours. i take it out of the crockpot put it in a baking dish and add pie crust over the top (the refrigerated one you roll out) and bake until brown. so good, and i am super lazy so its really easy!!!! take 5 minutes total of prep work.
ETA: i have also made it using pillsbury biscuits cut in half on the top instead of the pie crust. i like the pie better.

Re: pot pie recipes
I have a quick method.
Cooked chicken (I usually boil it in seasoned water - garlic salt/onion powder/hot sauce).
I warm up mixed frozen veges while the chicken is cooking but I guess you can throw it in with the chicken.
Then I take a can of cream of celery or chicken soup, mix it with the chicken and veges, grate in a clove of garlic and fill a pie shell. I even use the store brand shells
I bake it until the top is brown - about 20-30 mins at 350 I think.

Re: pot pie recipes
I have to agree that Ina Garten's chicken pot pie recipe is the best. To cut down on the work, I make the filling, but use store bought crust.

Re: pot pie recipes
I also use Ina's recipe, actually made it today. I tried altering it and it doesn't taste good. I do omit the pearl onions though and also do the flaky biscuits. To cut on time I will use 2 roisttery chickens. I made it tonight for dinner actually.
