Help! 9 month old suddenly won't sleep in crib!

Hi Ladies!
Please help, my daughter is 9 months and always has been a great sleeper, but just the past few days when we try to put her down for her nap or at night for bed in her crib, she cries and cries. Even if she is already sleeping and we put her down either immediately or within 30 min to an hour at the max she wakes up screaming. We tried to let her CIO for a while in hopes she would fall asleep on her own, but it didn't stop. We have tried mobile, singing, rubbing her back, white noise, machine, etc. My husband and I think it could possibly be separation anxiety because when she is in our bed or we just hold her she is out in 2 seconds. I know it's common at this age.Any advice would be great, thanks!

could it be teething or maybe a growth spurt? DS went through that about 2 weeks ago hes 8mths and just this week he got two top teeth..hes been back to sleeping in his crib just fine

It's exactly separation anxiety. Both my kids went through it at exactly 8 months. I'd get them to sleep in my bed (5 minutes) and then transfer then over.

I broke my son from going to sleep in my bed slowly... But at between 1 and 1.5 years old. DD is not yet 1... So she gets to sleep in my bed.

I'm having the same issue with naps with my 8 month old... The other day I had to rock her to sleep in my arms until she was completely out and put her in her crib... She finally slept in her crib for a nap for the first time in over 2 weeks!

i feel like I could have written this myself. I had some tough night last night one minute DD was laughing and 1 sec later crying. She was out cold in her crib and then 5 min later crying like crazy. The Pediatrician noticed a tooth ready to cut so maybe that is it with the combo that DH is wrapped around her finger and one cry he brings her into the bed and she really likes to be there. Hes creating a monster. Im trying not to have her sleep with us in the bed. I have no issues with her in the room but thats another story cause I love that shes so close to me and I can peek at her in the middle of the night. It only seems to be at night that she has this issue though.
