Belly Bands... hate 'em!
I don't remember having such hatered for belly bands during my first pregnancy, probably because I wore a lot of yoga pants and leggings since I was home a lot. But this time around, I can't stand them. They do nothing for me... on Christmas I pulled one on over my jeans, and all I did all day long was yank up my jeans and Lord help me when I was carrying presents out to the car... my pants were practically around my ankles.
I'm still really early (7 weeks) and I think my belly is mostly from bloating, but I can't close my pants and it's too soon for maternity pants. What are you guys doing during the transition between regular clothes and maternity clothes?

Maybe your belly band is too big or stretched out? Did you get a new one this time around or are you reusing from last time? Perhaps you are smaller than last time? Mine kept my pants up pretty well and it was really comfortable.
Can you wear your regular pants and just undo the button - I did that for a week or two in the beginning. I also had a pair or two of "fat pants" that fit longer than the others.
The only other option I can offer you is maybe dresses would be more comfortable? That is my go-to now that I am at the end....when I'm not in sweat pants that is.

I hated my belly band too, especially early in my pregnancy. What worked better for me was taking a rubber band or hair tie and wrapping it around the button a couple times then looping it through the button hole and back around the button. Then I would put the belly band over that just to kind of smooth out the appearance of the rubberband.

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Also, it sounds like your belly band is too big/stretched out. Maybe try buying a new one.

This is exactly what I did too, also try getting a smaller size and folding it over your pants , like the waste of yoga pants, I was tiny when pregnant, so I couldn't wear maternity pants and BB was the only thing I could wear or bigger size pants, I never wore a BB without folding it over or my pants would fall or feel like they were falling, so it's 2 layers instead of one, know what I mean?
