City Select Double
Does anyone have this stroller? Did anyone use this just for infant carriers in the beginning?
Thank you

Re: City Select Double
You mean the city select and you're adding a second seat? We use this. Love it! Big and bulky, but works for us.
ETA: we used it for infant carriers as we had the chicco keyfit 30s and they don't snap well into the baby trend snap and go. Since we didn't go out much in the beginning it was perfect for us. Just annoying that you can't fold it well with the brackets in. Also, be careful as the brackets can move out of place when you stow the stroller. You have to push them back into place to make sure the car seat actually snaps when you put it in. It took us a while to figure that out.

Thank you. Is the frame bulky too? I have an acadia and wondering if it would fit in the trunk.

Re: City Select Double
Its a big stroller, yes! When you take the brackets off and fold it without anything on it folds very nicely and flat. This would make quick in and out difficult though as you'd have to put the brackets back in each time. We always left it together. When you get to using the second seat, to fold the stroller you must remove the second seat. It is annoying but it folds better than with the infant carrier brackets. We have a minivan with the third row down. Sometimes I just throw the whole stroller in without folding. It is definitely a heavy stroller and bulky. It handles excellent though and the girls fit comfortably. Pushing them is a breeze.
ETA: it should fit fine in the back of your truck I think, but it does take up quite a bit of space.

Re: City Select Double
I use it and love it. I have 3 little girls so my twins use the city select (both facing out now) and my 3 year old DD walks with me. It is heavy but we have a minivan now so it isnt that big of a deal. I haven't owned a side by side stroller yet so I can't compare!

Re: City Select Double
i have this stroller and i like it. i didnt want a side by side so this was the best option for me. it is heavy and bulky though, but much easier to maneuver than a side by side IMO. it takes up a good amount of trunk space, but so would most double strollers. for me, the best thing about this stroller is that it can be a single with i need it to...i dont need to keep a separate stroller in my car if i only have 1 DS with me. i never used it with infant seats bc i had a double snap and go.
