Suffolk obgyn, three village women's health or university associates
Hi! I just found out that I'm pregnant and I'm trying to choose an obgyn. Do any of you go to these offices? What dr's do you use? Thanks.

Re: Suffolk obgyn, three village women's health or university associates
I went to Suffolk OB with my first two pregnancies...I left after my second because I was fed up with waiting so long in the waiting room every time I had an appointment. I loved some of the doctors, others not so much, but I knew it was time for a change. Now I go to Three Village and love it. It's a much more personal feel. The office staff knows my name, the nurses know you, and the doctors are great! I never wait more than 5-10 minutes for an appointment at the Patchogue office. I also prefer Stony Brook for deliveries now, as I am higher risk this pregnancy.

Re: Suffolk obgyn, three village women's health or university associates
I went to University Associates for my first two. They always had long waits and I found it impossible to get late appointments (after 3:30). I stuck with them because I loved my doctor (Dr. Johnson). She and her husband left so for my 3rd I saw no reason to stick around. I tried to make my first appointment there. I called when I was 5 weeks and they couldn't give me an appt after 3:30 until I was 12 weeks. I said goodbye and went to Stony Brook OBGYN. LOVE THEM. Never have to wait and always get an appointment with the doctor I want after 3:30.

Re: Suffolk obgyn, three village women's health or university associates
I use Three village, been very happy there. There is a new Dr. I am not too thrilled about just because she is less experienced. But the staff and Dr's are otherwise wonderful. I went through a terrible first delivery and they gave me great support. They listen, and they discuss, never feel rushed.
I also vote for suffolk OB/GYN cuz my aunt is an NP there, and she is fantastic!!

Re: Suffolk obgyn, three village women's health or university associates
I go to Suffolk ob, I like most of the doctors there. The wait can sometimes be annoying, but I find there is a wait when I go at night-which is like many doctor offices that get backed up.

Thanks for the responses! After doing some research I'm leaning more towards three village and now possibly stoneybrook obgyn. Does anyone go to the drs at stoneybrook obgyn?
