Easy lasagne recipe
Anyone have an easy ground chicken or turkey lasagne recipe? For some reason I've been in the mood to make one. Not the best cook so figured I'd ask.
Thanks!

Re: Easy lasagne recipe
you can try this one (just substitute the sausage for ground turkey/chicken):
Classic LASAGNA Preheat oven to 375°. Cook sausage for 20 minutes, drain fat, cut into small pieces and set aside. Cook RONZONI LASAGNA strips according to package directions for parboiling. Put drained strips in single layer on sheet of wax paper until ready to proceed with recipe. In a large bowl mix together the ricotta cheese, egg, parsley flakes, nutmeg, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. To assemble RONZONI LASAGNA – pour 1 1/3 cups sauce in bottom of 9x13-inch dish, then a layer of RONZONI LASAGNA strips, ½ of the ricotta cheese mixture, mozzarella cubes and sausage and another layer of RONZONI LASAGNA strips. Repeat layers ending with final 1 1/3 cups of sauce. Sprinkle with ½ cup Parmesan cheese. Cover with aluminum foil and bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 15 more minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate leftovers. 4 to 6 servings. To Parboil: Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil, add 1 tablespoon salt (optional). Cook 7 or 8 strips of RONZONI LASAGNA at a time for 6-8 minutes. Occasionally stir gently to keep strips from sticking together. Remove with slotted spoon and put in cold water to stop cooking action. Strips can be kept in cold water or drained and put in single layer on a sheet of wax paper until ready to proceed with recipe.
Ingredients: 1 (8-ounce) package RONZONI LASAGNA 1 (26-ounce) jar Pasta Sauce 1 pound Italian sausage 2 (15-ounce) container ricotta cheese 1 egg, beaten 1 tablespoon parsley flakes ¼ teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon sugar Salt and pepper to taste 1 cup mozzarella cheese ½ cup Parmesan cheese

Re: Easy lasagne recipe
I LOVE this recipe, except I use the ready bake noodles. You can substitute in the chicken, and leave the rest.
Pioneer Woman Lasagna
Ingredients 1-1/2 pound Ground Beef 1 pound Hot Breakfast Sausage 2 cloves Garlic, Minced 2 cans (14.5 Ounce) Whole Tomatoes 2 cans (6 Ounce) Tomato Paste 2 Tablespoons Dried Parsley 2 Tablespoons Dried Basil 1 teaspoon Salt 3 cups Lowfat Cottage Cheese 2 whole Beaten Eggs 1/2 cup Grated (not Shredded) Parmesan Cheese 2 Tablespoons Dried Parsley 1 teaspoon Salt 1 pound Sliced Mozzarella Cheese 1 package (10 Ounce) Lasagna Noodles (add 1/2 Teaspoon Salt And 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil To Pasta Water) Preparation Instructions Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Meanwhile, in a large skillet or saucepan, combine ground beef, sausage, and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat until browned. Drain half the fat; less if you’re feeling naughty. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, 2 tablespoons parsley, basil and salt. After adding the tomatoes, the sauce mixture should simmer for 45 minutes while you are working on the other steps. In a medium bowl, mix cottage cheese, beaten eggs, grated Parmesan, 2 more tablespoons parsley, and 1 more teaspoon salt. Stir together well. Set aside. Cook lasagna until “al dente” (not overly cooked). To assemble: Arrange 4 cooked lasagna noodles in the bottom of a baking pan, overlapping if necessary. Spoon half the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles. Spread evenly. Cover cottage cheese with a layer of mozzarella cheese. Spoon a little less than half the meat/sauce mixture over the top. Repeat, ending with meat/sauce mixture. Sprinkle top generously with extra Parmesan. Either freeze, refrigerate for up to two days, or bake immediately: 350-degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until top is hot and bubbly.

Re: Easy lasagne recipe
I love the Barilla no bake lasagna noodle recipe. I make my own sauce and usually leave out the meat and mix a box of defrosted chopped frozen spinach with the ricotta mix.

Re: Easy lasagne recipe
You can use any of the recipes posted and I sub out ground beef for ground turkey. I also only use fresh pasta from Pastoso. I put it in raw. The other "trick" I do is I drain out the sauce from the meat with a colander. I layer everything and only add a little bit of sauce to the cheese layer. Then I add more sauce on the last layer. It always comes out perfect, together and not watery.

Me too! My MIL, whose "famous" lasagna is always in demand, told me this was her secret recipe when I insisted that she give me hers. LOL
