Yes and DH changed the first diaper too because I had a c-section and was not able to get up.

No. I had 2 kids at home but even if I didn't, I didn't want him staying over. All I wanted was some alone time with my baby and plenty of rest.

YES! and it was great because the 1st night DD ended up needing to go to the NICU for a few hours and since it was 3am on a saturday/sunday it was hard getting a wheelchair/somewhere to take me down to see her, so DH just did it for me!!

Yeah, he stayed on the sofa the entire time i was there. It wasn't comfy but it was better than nothing.
And i was able to get enough hospital food for the both of us so he didn't need to buy every meal (though that food wasn't good so it's not such a "win" lol)

Yes my wife stayed with me, but it was at north shore lij which has the same set up. The twins were in the nicu. I could not have imagined if she didn't stay with me. If we have another it will be a different situation.

same..he left late at night..he is super tall,i wanted sleep and the twins werein the nursery..i sent him home and he came up the next morning
