Reasonably priced cooking classes?
I recently went to Cook & Go in NYC (had a groupon). We had a good time. The meal was OK but I'd def go back. Just wondering where else we could go for a fun cooking class that doesn't cost a ton of $$. LI or NYC. Ideas?

My friend an I are on a wait list for their March class where we'll leant how to make 4 types of pizza and the cost is $69.00 per person for this class. IMO, that's a lot of $ for a pizza class!!!

I love the recreational program at institute of culinary education in the city. Classes probably start around $85 per class so it's not cheap but you eat me toe home a ton of food and you drink too!

I've done the ICE cooking classes, too, and they are fun! (I also did a wine tasting class there that was really fun.) Some of the more technical classes are pretty hard core -- I did a 3 hour pastry bag class there and was dying! It was hard, repetitive labor! LOL. But most of the cooking classes are fun.
I am glad this was posted. I used to do the classes at the old Viking/Loaves and Fishes store on Franklin Ave. in Garden City. Those were really fun, but it closed a couple of years ago. Would love to find something similar, am going to check out Sur La Table.
