BFP then BFN, ? on symptoms ..got a BFN
my cycles are normally 26 days. i tested on day 25 with a normal pregnancy target test and got a postive. i'm feeling a little nauseous, am feeling more tired than normal and breast have been sore for the past week and don't ususally have these symptoms with my period. then i did one of those stick tests - negative - but it was right after i had a big glass of water. then i ran to target to get another regular target test, it was an hour later and that is saying negative too. should i try to not drink or pee and wait 3 or 4 hours and test again? should i just test tomorrow am? should i expect AF? what happens when you have a chemical pregnancy i've been reading about. my abdomen area feels "funny", not sure if it is bloating or soemthing going on. of course my doctor is closed until monday and he would probably just say wait two weeks. my husband says, there's no way that if you are pregnant that you are feeling something already. MEN! TIA!!

I would wait and test with FMU. GOOD LUCK!!! I hope its a BFP!

I agree. Wait til tomorrow morning and test again. A chemical just means you will get basically a regular period, but a bit late. I had one in June and did not have any unusual symptoms and had I not been in tune with my cycle would have just thought it was a regular month.

I agree...wait until tomorrow morning and test...I had a chemical but I started bleeding soon after my BFP. If no blood then DEF test again tomorrow morning. GOOD LUCK!!

wait til tomorrow and test with a FRER test.
if the target test is blue dye i wouldn't consider it BFP. don't use blue dye tests at all.

ITA with everyone else. also you could not have a chemical and go from a positive to a negative in a few hours as far as I know but I could be totally wrong on this. . more likely test error on one side or another. . hope it is a BFP this morning
as far as your husband. i totally felt symptoms by the time i missed AF. some people do, others don't .. now i heard someone say they felt kicking at 1 month and that is batshit crazy but pulling in the abs. . totally possible!

test this morning. got a BFN. symptoms that i had seem to have gone away.
this is going to be a very silly question, but which test are the blue dye tests. the one i have seems to be more purple. is the blue really blue?
anyone know how long you wait for your period after something like this. now i feel like i'm rushing time so that next month gets here and we can try again.

If the lines are bluish/purplish, it's a blue dye test. Use a FRER (First Response Early Response) test which uses pink dye and is much less likely to have an evaporation line.

Hello! My first post here :) I know this is an old post but came across this thread when doing a search on "evaporation lines"....my period is due in 5 days and Thursday night I took a FRER and it appeared to be 1 line and then, I pulled out of garbage to give a good stare and there was a light 2nd line...but the 1st line wasn't bright pink....but there was a 2nd, I was so EXCITED! Thought for sure it was my BFP. Then, this morning retested and clear as white ever only 1 line? Needless to say, bummed. But, then I read with FRER, evapoartion lines unlikely? I really feel symptoms but not sure in my head. Is it too early to test? Based on my ovulation calendar, I ovulated last Wed making today 10 DPO?

Agree with the poster and 10dpo is too early to test. I didn't get my BFP until miday 11dpo.

It could be a evap line. I would wait a couple days to test again. I had a REALLY faint line at 7dpo and then by 9dpo I got a BFP on a digital. If you just aren't sure about it then I would wait a couple days (as hard as it is) and then test.
