Which yogurt for a 6 month old?
Can I get plain yogurt and mix in pureed fruits myself?

This is a good question. When I asked my pediatrician about yogurt he told me no milk products until 12 months. That included yogurt. Anyone else's ped say the same? I didn't think it was an issue I see so many people doing it

i just got yo baby by stonyfiled.
I heard you can mix your own but when i tired this it got really runny and DD didnt like it. I obviously wasnt doing something right 
I think what kind of plain yougurt would be a personal choice i think it should just be whole milk. Its up to you if you want organic or not
ETA: my ped told me i could start at 6 months but he did tell me to start with the gerber ones down the isle at baby/food stores and if she did ok with that to go with yo baby.

Which yogurt for a 6 month old?
We get yo baby by stonyfield as well. Whole milk yogurt only I was told by pediatrician and my DS loves the flavor options of yo baby.

I bought stonyfield plain whole milk yogurt and mixed in applesauce or fruit purees.

Mine said the same thing but I ignored it.
I used Yo baby or Gerber.
The gerber didn't need to be refirgerated until after opening so it was great for on the go.

My ped gave me the ok for yogurt at our last appointment. It freaked me out a bit when I read the ingredients for plain organic 
I'm going to wait until she's a year. Maybe more

Mine said same thing but I know so many other peds who suggest yogurt earlier.

Our ped gave me the ok at 9mots. We tried the Gerber yogurts but he hated them so we switched to yo baby and he loves them.

yup this is what we do. Whole milk yogurt either from trader joes or stoneyfield brand. I do yo baby only for when we are out because it has a lot of sugar.

Same.
I liked the 3 in 1 meals by them because it had a fruit and a vege mixed in- and from the start DD hated veges so this was a way to get some in her
ANd the sugar never concerned me because she barely ate and was underweight so I didn't mind a little extra calories here and there

Stonyfield YoBaby DS will be 7 months tomorrow and we just started yogurt today. He loves it! You can make it yourself too, just make sure its whole milk.

YoBaby Yogurt has only 3 ingredients: Milk, pectin (a sugar found in fruit), and vitamin D.
The only other thing in it are Probiotics (the so-called "good bacteria") - some are naturally found in yogurt, and some are added to make it better for you. Probiotics are great and tons of people take them in pill/droplet form.

What ingredients? I feed my kid plain whole milk Greek yogurt from trader joes and the only ingredients are milk and live active cultures.
I wouldn't personally use yobaby- I refer to avoid added sugar
