Acupuncturist Questions

I'm new to the boards, but have found so much helpful information already.

I have RCPL and a short luteal phase. I'm going to start acupuncture and I was wondering if there are any questions I should ask the acupuncturist before I begin. I want to find out about her experience treating infertility.

Any helpful information anyone has to share would be greatly appreciated. What do you usually wear to your sessions?

Are you seeing an acupuncturist who is also as doctor? If so they may ask for your records from your RE. I saw Dr. Li in Smithtown and on my first visit he met with me and went over my history, came up with a plan for where the needles would be placed and why, and had me take herbs to make a tea, and told me I would come twice a week until I became pregnant, and would continue once a week until I was out of my first trimester.
I would think if you are not seeing an acupuncturist who is a doctor I would certainly ask what experience she has and what you can expect from your sessions, how many visits, will she be giving you supplements or herbs, etc...

As for dress, I would go with pants that can be unzipped and folded down and a shirt that can have sleeves that easily roll up and you can also roll up the bottom to expose your stomach, and shoes that slip off easily.
