Birthday dinner for me!
My bday is saturday so DH and I are going out on friday night. Need a restaurant recommendation. Preferably in the East Meadow/Merrick/Bellmore/Seaford/Wantagh area
No preference at all as to food type. Just looking to go somewhere we've never been

Sooo funny. My Fiance's birthday is Sunday so I'm looking for a place to take him... in the Exact same areas!!!... but also Bellmore!

I keep hearing from everyone about LEft Coast Grill (not sure that is the right name though) on Merrick Rd in Merrick.

Left Coast Kitchen is great - Also, Salumi in Massapequa - both on Merrick Rd.

New resturant that opened in East meadow I believe its Fuego Picanta food is good and has a nice bar area with couches.

Sage Bistro in Bellmore on Merrick Rd
Went for a friend's birthday and it was delicious! Can't wait to go back.

We love Snaps and also enjoy Salumi.
My suggestion with Salumi though is to try to get there early and less is more if you are doing tapas AND a meat/cheese board.
DH and I always overdo it on the tapas and then are stuffed when the board arrives. (Also don't order extra bread because it comes on the board).
