Low sperm count

DH and I have been TTC our 2nd child for about 8 cycles now. We conceived DS right away but that was 4 years ago. I didn't know what to think since we've been using Deanna's plan regularly, I always get positive OPKs, and my period regularly appears on day 28 or 29.
DH decided to by an at home sperm test. I didn't even know those things existed. Apparently the test said that his sperm count is low. Has anyone had any experience with this type of test or with possible low sperm count of their DH? I have no idea what to do next, I just feel so upsetChat Icon
Thanks in advance for any insight.

Low sperm count

Honestly I wouldn't trust those at home test. If your DH is concerned you can see a RE or he can see a urologist and ask for a semen analysis. Those are much more accurate. Good Luck Chat Icon

Chat Icon Def get him checked out via an office so they can give you a more concise result! Good luck hun and hang in there. My DH has poor morphology and we have him on supplements that are doing the trick.

Thanks all! He called a lab, reproductive specialists of ny, so they're going to meet with both of us and then do a semen analysis. Hopefully we'll find some answers.

Wow i never knew that there was an at home sperm test! Just wanted to say good luck and try not to stress about those results I can't imagine how truly accurate they could be. Just wait till you see the doctor. Chat Icon
