Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
I have the Escalade ESV either 2011 or 2012. I love it! It drives just like a regular car, I previously came from the BMW x5. My only complaints are sometimes parking in narrow parking spaces and parking garages in the city. I have 3 kids and we have our oldest 2 (4yo twins) in the 3 row (fyi, no latch hooks in the 3rd row) and my youngest is behind the driver. We have the captains chairs so we keep the other seat folded to have access to the back. FM me with any questions.

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
We have 3 kids.
I drive an Excursion (we have 2 of them) and if I had to purchase another big SUV off a lot, it would be a Suburban, Yukon XL, Escalade or Expedition XL. (Although our plan is to have another Excursion custom built.)
We also have a 2013 Toyota Land Cruiser (we test drove the Lexus LX which is pretty much the same vehicle) and I find it to be too small. (It's my DH's primary vehicle.)
I've never been in a Toyota Sequoia, but that's another vehicle I would check out.

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
My sister n law has 4 kids and has a Toyota sequoia. We drove it cross country and it was a great ride. It had great room with 4 adults, and 4 kids in car seats.

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
The escalade is a nice truck. I suggest not getting the ivory interior. Lol It's very high so if you have to put children in car seats it's not the easiest. It's impossible to clean the snow off in the winter. It's hard to park, some blind spots. It's a cadillac though, and the ride is nice. You have a lot of room- you can seat 6/7 adults comfortably.

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
I'm on my second Buick Enclave. I love it. Just got the 2013 (I have 3 kids and still have plenty of room without driving a tank).
DH is looking for something now, he has a Jeep Wrangler now and wants a little more room. The Escalade is on his list, the one he wants is upwards of $85K Yeah, keep looking

Re: Suggest a "big" SUV
I love my Tahoe. Although it is a gas guzzler, it takes E85 which is kinder on the wallet. I know some people same the e85 burns faster. I don't see much of a difference. More importantly, after getting slammed by a drunk driver, the Tahoe did exactly what it was supposed to. My family was safe and the drunk driver's Honda Pilot was totaled.

Thank goodness you are all ok!
CAn I ask you about the trunk space on the tahoe when the third row is in use? I CANNOT believe that there is no trunk space in the armada or the expedition. In my minivan, it dips down, so i can fit the stroller and such,
