TTC for the second time (or 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc...)
Hey ladies!! So DH and I are starting to talk about going for number 2! The first time around it took us 4 months. I'm just wondering how long it took the average person...

The first time we got pregnant on the first try. This time took much longer b/c I had two chemical pregnancies. I don't think the amount of time #1 took will correlate at all with how long #2 takes.

So hard! The reason I'm asking is, I'm a teacher and trying to "plan" as much as I can...ideally I would be due sometime between April and May but obv we don't have and really control

My first was very quick, my 2nd took 5 months, with one miscarriage, im now pregnant with my 3rd, and it took over a year with quite a number of miscarriages.
So i agree with the OP, its hard to plan, and it will be different for everyone. But goodluck!!

Thanks!! It sounds so stupid but it is so frustrating that it is one shot a month (kinda) - 12 chances a year -- when you think of the chances it's kinda insane!!!

We got preggo w/#1 on our 1st month trying but that ended in an early MC.
With DS, it took us 5 months.
We just found out that we are preggo again and it was the 1st month trying.

Ds # 1&2 were on the first try. With number three we were aiming for april or may. Got pregnant, had an early miscarriage and now I am due in June.
Sometimes the plan works sometimes it doesn't. Good luck!

#1 took 3 months, #2 got pregnant on the first try.

For DS #1, stopped the pill in March, BFP in September.
DC#2, stopped the pill in November, BFP in March.
With this pregnancy, I used the CBE Ovulation test in the last month only, got the smiley and got PG.

I really believe it is next to impossible to predict. It took us just over a year and starting with an RE to get pg w my first. When trying for the second, I was pg three times within five months (first two were chemicals). So it was totally different the second time around for us.

1st time: it took 1st try, second time it took us 1st try but MC'd, then once we got the green light to try again, it took us 1st try after MC.

DS was conceived on the 3rd try.
This one was conceived via "pull and pray" that failed after 3 1/2 yrs lol
