My beautiful DD is the result of IVF (unexplained IF) and we are thinking about when to start trying again for #2.
My question is, did you try on your own for #2 and if so how long before seeking help of RE.
A lot of people keep telling me now that I had a baby my body knows what to do now.

I was planning on trying on our own for 6 months and then going back to the RE (my 1st DD is an IVF baby). I was planning on trying at the end of last year, but God had other plans and we had a surprise pregnancy. Had DD2 the beginning of last year, lol.

I have PCOS, Endo, MTHFR

we are thinking about #2 and discussed trying for 6 months and then heading back to the RE. because it took us 3 years for DS, we don't want to wait the full year again.

I had unexplained IF although I was treated for poor quality embryos. It took my 5 IVFs before getting pregnant with my DS who was born December 2011. I heard all the stories too about women getting pregnant on their own after years of struggling. I had planned on going back to my RE after 1year however I miscarried on my own and got pregnant on my own in August of 2012. Im having my baby on Wednesday. I was beyond shocked when I went to see my RE for another reason and he did a sono and there was a heartbeat.

I had my DS in 2012 using IUI. Being close to 40 we did not want to wait long for the second one, however we figured we would at least try a few months early on before going back to the RE. So when my DS was 5 months we starting trying, thinking it was going to be a shot it the dark. Well to our surprise we got pregnant!!! So Irish Twins I will have lol. Give it a try, I think that being pregnant does help you

We did try on our own, never used any birth control after DD and I was getting semi-regular periods Every 28-40 days). But no luck for us. I went back to the RE in Jan, DD was 20 months. Wanted to go back sooner but had insurance issues. 3 cycles with the RE and still nanda.
