What windows treatments do you have in the nursery? - ANOTHER QUESTION!

I just realized that her bedding set came with a valance. We also got the matching sheer drapes. Can we do both? I think I like the sheer drapes better, but I would hate for the valance to be a waste.

eta: I was all set to do both - but the valance is not long enough to cover her double window Chat Icon Chat Icon . should I just use a single rod, with the valance in the middle and the sheer drapes on the ends??

would that look totally stupid?

Re: What windows treatments do you have in the nursery? - ANOTHER QUESTION!

Our crib set came with one valance, so i bought a second. The sheer drapes didnt really match, so i looked up the crib set and they had drapes that went with the set, so i ordered them from BRU and have both hanging in dd room.. Then my sis found these cute butterfly side drape holders to keep drapes open. matches perfectly

I think that is a good idea and will look nice. However if you are looking for some light coverage maybe put blinds up too.
