Crashing from Pregnancy - 3 or more c-sections

I am having my third c-section in July, my first was 14 years ago, my second was 5 years ago. I am absolutely terrified!! I am scared of something happening during, or after. Blood clots are a huge fear of mine! I am slowly driving myself crazy. I did speak with my OB before getting pregnant again and he didn't have any worries or anything. I am just so scared and keep thinking the worst. If you've had 3 or more c-sections, how was the recovery on the 3rd? I'll be 32, and honestly this pregnancy has been a lot harder than the other two, which scares me too, lol.

Thanks!

My sister had 3, after her 3rd the Dr told her not to get pregnant again, she had too much scar tissue. If your Dr doesnt see an issue you should be fine.

I had three and the last was the best recovery thus far.

Thanks!! This definitely helps. I am just getting sooooo nervous!!!! I am trying so hard not to think about it and just stay calm, but I get these moments of panic where I am just stressing and feeling like it was a terrible idea!

My doctor told me the same thing during my 3rd c-section. We weren't planning on having any more anyway, so this wasn't troubling.

Anyway, my 3 sections were all within 5 years of one another and the last surgery and recovery were fine and I was...ummmm...several years older than you for the last.

Oh...eta that my 3rd surgery did take about 75 minutes when all was said and done because of the scar tissue, particularly the adhesions.

I'm having my fourth this summer. I was a little worried about it too. My dr. went back through my entire chart at my first appointment to reassure me. I never had any bad scar tissue or adhesions so he's not concerned.

I had 4 c-sections within 6 years and I was worried about each one. They all were fine but still it is surgery. I dont think your wrong to have concerns just speak with your doctor. I used the same doctor for all my surgeries and had complete confidence in him so that helped ease my fears a lot. Good luck!!
