miscarriage 10 weeks
I have a friend who just found out yesterday she is having a miscarriage. They scheduled her dnc for next Wednesday but told her if she bleeds a lot go to the hospital. Today she started bleeding like a period and doesn't know if she should wait or go to the hospital. Anyone have any advice? TIA

Is she having any cramping?
I miscarried naturally at 11 weeks and bled and was cramping, but was never told to go to the hosp unless the bleeding wasn't stopping.

They say that if it gets to the point where you are changing a pad once an hour or more, or if the cramping is SEVERE. I MC'ed at 7 weeks and did it naturally - was at work for most of it (only left an hour early when the cramps got so bad I was crying). Then just finished at home and relaxed as best I could.

After two miscarriages, I was told this as well.
